That is... really bizarre. I had to stare at it for a looong time to figure out just what was going on. At first it looked like two land shots with one shopped into the sky. It totally blows my sense of perspective. Those boulders on that slope must have been HUGE.

Hehe, is it weird to be flattered by that? :) The best way to visualise it is apparently of a flat beach backed by a huge valley wall (which is a good approximation). The hill at the back had a slope of about 20 degrees, which I later climbed to get a shot from the top.

It helps, I think, to know that the penguins in question are about two feet high :D The boulders were pretty big, and the colours of the rock changed such that later, when scaling the slope, it felt like we were walking on Mars.
